ROCK COTTAGE Bed and Breakfast

Mike and Clarissa Howson welcome you to Rock Cottage; a large detached house in a fabulous setting yet only a 5 minute walk to the village of Ingleton, with its pubs and amenities. We offer quality, en-suite accommodation. The house is built in traditional Yorkshire style with some beamed ceilings. It is warm and comfortable with full central heating, double glazing and additional welcoming open fires. 

The perfect place to relax.

Rock Cottage is only a 3 minute walk to the path up Ingleborough Hill (one of the famous Three Peaks) and also only a 3 minute walk to the delightful ‘Waterfalls Walk’. You won’t need your car to reach either of these walks, it could stay safely parked in our grounds. There are also plenty of opportunities for taking gentle walks as many footpaths criss-cross the area.

Enjoy our garden and the marvellous setting of Rock Cottage. Birds seen this year include bullfinch, woodpecker, spotted flycatcher, pheasant, tawny owl, sparrow hawk, red kite and many others. Just a 5 minute walk will bring you into the village where there is a good choice of pubs and inns, which serve excellent food in the evenings.

Guest's Bedrooms
There are two double rooms and one room containing a double and a single bed, which could act as a double / twin or family room. All three bedrooms have en-suite facilities. There is of course a tea and coffee making tray in every room. Each room has its own particular character with spectacular views of the garden where you can view the bird tables, with our resident woodpeckers!

Guests’ lounge
There is also plenty of space to relax in the 
evening or on rainy days in the guest’s own 
comfortable lounge with TV and a good 
selection of books, games and magazines 
provided—just make yourselves at home, 
relax……….unwind! 

Relax in front of the log fire with a ready supply of logs and coal to hand!

Breakfast
We offer a generous breakfast in the guests’ dining room. Help yourselves to the buffet breakfast and also let us cook a typical English breakfast, to set you up for the day. There will be lots of choice for vegetarians as well.

We will be pleased to provide a packed lunch if requested.

Walking? - Perhaps we can help by driving you to the start of a walk.
Cycling? - We have lockable stabling to house your cycles.
Golfing? - Ask us to arrange tee-times with the many golf courses nearby.

We want to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, so just let us know if you would like us to help in any way.

En-suite Bed and Breakfast: (based on two sharing)
	£30 for one night £27 for two nights £25 for three nights £24 for four nights or more

Where the family room is used for three people the price is £72 per night (thats just £24 each), £68 for three or more nights.

PARTIES OF SIX GUESTS WILL HAVE THE COMPLETE “COTTAGE” END OF THE HOUSE TO THEMSELVES, INCLUDING 3 DOUBLE/TWIN ROOMS, LOUNGE AND DINING ROOM.

Children of eight years and above are welcome. If a group/ family book all the rooms, then children of any age are welcome. A deposit of £30 per room will be requested and where two or three rooms are booked by one party, payment in full will be required 7 days before arrival.
