The Dales Guest House is situated in the village of lngleton, in the wonderful Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Locally; there is a wealth of interesting things to see and do, and each season has its own attractions. For walkers, the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-gent are all accessible.

To the south, wonderful green hills lead to the Trough of Bowland and a network of footpaths and bridleways make numerous rambles possible. The Lake District is also easily by car and bus.

The Dales Guest House is ideally located for seeing the Dales on foot, car or bicycle. Drystone walls, natural limestone pavements, small villages and cosy pubs and cafes make this an unforgettable landscape. 

Just outside the village are two glorious valleys, each with a series of waterfalls; a circular walk encompasses both. Nearby are White Scar Caves - the largest show caves in Britain.

The Settle to Carlisle Railway is an amazing feat of engineering and construction, making it one of the most scenic journeys in the country. The nearby magnificent 24 arch Ribblehead viaduct is a tribute to the navvies who lived and sometimes died there.

Our five en-suite rooms (three doubles, one twin and one single) have colour television, tea and coffee trays and magnificent views of either Ingleborough or the Greta Valley. 

A comfortable residents lounge provides for a relaxing end to your day.

If you choose to take your evening meal with us you are assured of a good wholesome meal prepared from the finest fresh produce. For those dining out, there are a choice of pubs and cafes in the village.

Other amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool (open during the summer), outdoor bowls green and cricket pitch, plus a good selection of shops.
