Nutstile
Working Farm - Bed and Breakfast
Carol,
Stephen and family invite you to their home. Nutstile Farm is
a warm, friendly, fully working farm in a remote setting, but
within easy reach of Ingleton village centre. The farm has its
own dairy herd and flock of sheep, and guests are invited to take
part in farm life during their visit, or just enjoy the tranquility
of the setting.
Nutstile
is a family run business, and the three children on the farm help
with both the farm-work, and showing guests around. Your children
are more than welcome, and time spent here
with them is very rewarding. Please
understand that we cannot accommodate dogs, being a sheep farm.
There are Kennels nearby.
The
accommodation consists of 4 letting rooms with spectacular views
over the dales, all with central heating and full facilities.
2 rooms are fully en suite, and a third has a private bathroom
adjacent.
Evening meals are available in the local establishments, but we
do serve breakfast. A word about breakfasts.
They are the full farm kitchen cooked breakfast that England is
famous for, so don't miss it.
|
The
farm is ideally located for a golfing holiday, being centrally
located with three rural courses in Bentham, Settle and
Kirby Lonsdale.
Location
The
farm is located half a mile from the A65, if driving from
Skipton, turn left one mile after the Little Chef. From
Kendal take the second right after the petrol station on
leaving Ingleton. (Lookout for the New Century Steiff sign
at the junction and travel in the opposite direction.) The
farm is well signposted from the junction.
For
those wishing to come by train, give us a call and we will
meet you at the station, Bentham being the nearest.
